FDA Bans Off-Label Cephalosporin Use in Animals

WASHINGTON (MedPage Today) — The FDA has issued an order banning some off-label uses of cephalosporins in cattle, swine, and poultry in order to preserve the effectiveness of the antibiotic class in humans.
