Waist Hip Ratio
Waist to Hip ratio is increasingly used in preference to BMI as a better measurement of obesity and cardiovascular disease. A ratio of more than 1.0 for a males (in other words waist is bigger than hips) or 0.8 for females puts them at significant health risks.
Waist Hip Ratio = Waist circumference (measured at the Midpoint between the lowest rib and the iliac crest at the end of expiration) divided by Hip Circumference (measure the circumference at the widest part of your buttocks)
